If you don’t know about this site, I’m not sure which rock you’ve lived under all of these years, but it offers a plethora of information on actors, budgets, shooting locations, and most importantly, user ratings.
European Films on DVD
These guys have been around for at least a couple of years. It’s not a pretty site but they have a full list of products. I think a Christmas present is in order for myself. You’ll need one of these to play foreign movies encoded with a different region code.
I have rented over 450 DVD’s from these guys. I know because they keep your rental history which is handy when people ask you what movies you like and you can’t remember because you’ve watched a bazillion. They list foreign films by country and keep track of your ratings. All movies from Netflix are Region 1, so no need for a special DVD player if you’re in the States.
French site which does ship to the U.S. Shipping is nicely quick unless you run into shipping delays. On the one shipment received I was not charged duties and if I recall, I used my regular amazon.com login I.D.
